A Timely Lenten Virtual Study: Overcoming the Fear of the Other—Wednesday evenings in Lent at 7:00 PM (March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 16). This study/dialogue will deepen our moral understanding of “the other” in light of Christ’s ministry, during a time in which so many in our culture—including immigrants—are being “othered” in harmful ways. Our companion resources for this study will be the books, “Fear of the Other,” by Bishop William Willimon and “Beyond Welcome” by Karen González . Rev. Paul Fleck (the Executive Director of Immigration Law and Justice, New York) will serve as our primary facilitator. Rev. Mickey Correa, Karina Feliz, and Rev. Dr. Eric Park will be co-facilitators.
