Our LGBTQIA+ ministry hosts opportunities to celebrate and connect around this good news from small groups & socials for LGBTQIA+ folk & allies to church-wide events that lift up the queer gifts within and beyond our community of faith.

Our LGBTQIA+ Ministry partners with the Temple Emanu-El Center for Interfaith Dialogue for Qyueering the Bible & Beyond: A Monthly Dialogue Group. Our May 2025 event, hosted at Christ Church NYC, invites you to a special pre-Pride party featuring food, drink, and a hands-on learning activity about the history of Pride from an interfaith perspective.

Join us as we kick-off Pride month at CCNYC with our annual rooftop celebration during coffee hour! Connect with church friends, celebrate Pride month and the faith and spirituality of queer folk, and enjoy a sunny afternoon at the start of Pride.

Thursday, June 5 2025, at 6:30pm
Join us for our annual Pride service ILLUMINATE on Thursday night, June 5. This evening will invite us into a sacred space that celebrates the LGBTQIA+ folk in our community of faith, the gifts of queer spirituality, and the call to create a more vibrant, just, and inclusive world. Doors open at 6:00pm. Our service of song, liturgy, and story will start at 6:30pm, followed by a brief reception at 7:30pm.

Saturday, June 21, 2:00pm at Central Park
Join us for our annual Pride month picnic at Central Park on Saturday, June 21, at 2:00pm! We’ll meet at the Sheep’s Meadow with light food and drink provided. Bring a blanket, something to eat, and enjoy a sunny afternoon together.

Sunday, June 29, from 1:00 to 4:00pm
Join us after church on Sunday, June 29, as we trek downtown to pass out water, stickers, and swag to Pride goers from the steps of Marble Collegiate Church (on the Pride route at the corner of 29th and 5th ave.) before exploring the festival together.
